Keeping families and pets together

Summit County Pet Food Pantry is a registered Colorado nonprofit dedicated to animal welfare and family preservation across Summit, Lake, and Eagle Counties.

The Founding Mission

Eliminating food insecurity as a barrier

Our work rests on a simple premise: no mountain family should ever have to choose between filling their own plate and filling their dog's bowl. By coordinating with regional food banks, we ensure pet food is accessible right alongside human groceries.

By removing these costs, we directly prevent unnecessary shelter surrenders across high-country towns, keeping beloved companions in the homes where they belong.

Core Principles

Compassion, community, and dignified high-country support in every box we distribute.

Working together to make essential pet resources accessible while putting the well-being of animals and families first.
